What a rubbish flashback. I hate Jack and his rubbish flashbacks. It's the rubbishness that really gets to me. They contain the least imaginative and uninteresting resolutions to every single question. I know Jack can't let go because they told us that before. I know Sarah and Jack are no longer married. They could've written her out a bit more excitingly than that. They could at least have told us the other man was James Ford. Or Locke.
What an exciting un-flashback. Alex! De Groot! He's a self-righeous little gnome. Sawyer giving the Others nicknames! I hope Rousseau comes back soon. She's such fun. I'm still slightly disappointed that we ever have to see the Others in person, but they are at least remaining impressively creepy. And so much Locke.
(Last week's was a good episode and I forgot to mention it but yay.)
And what an unsettling last line. I don't think it's quite on to attempt to turn forty-odd people into an army whether they like it or not. That's what I reckon anyway.
PS. I have a new favourite line.
Sayid: This music is quite depressing.
