I LOVE the skating.

I have to use capitals to express my LOVE for the skating. It's that good. What happened is that the men were doing their free programme and no less that two of them skated to the theme music from Pirates of the Caribbean, which has to be just about the best music to skate to ever. I have a great love of absurdly bombastic nautical music. I thought for one joyful moment that every remaining skater was going to skate to that tune, but they limited it to just those two. One of them was dressed as a pirate and did swordfighting on ice, and he was so good I had to watch from directly in front of the screen. And he had proper choreography that made sense and matched the music, which seems to be a thing that other people are lacking. And he didn't fall over. He was Kevin van der Something and I hope he wins. He skated to Pirates!

Now someone has stolen the TV and I'm watching on the computer. They seem to be combing the ice with small buses. I want more skating to happen. Especially if it's pirate skating.
