OH GOD, I HATE it when people say that, because WHAT ELSE could be designed to so thoroughly to make you go into an UTTER TAILSPIN of fluster and dismay, and if not fluster and dismay, then UTTER EVAPORATION OF ANY DESIRE TO TALK WHATSOEVER. It is an exceptionally rude thing to say. I am always perplexed by that section of theoretically-socially-adept society who seem to think that it's all right to say ungracious, discomfiting things, AS LONG AS YOU ARE SAYING IT WITH A BRIGHT SMILE AND WIH A CHIT-CHATTING TONE. What a rubbish woman.
