The newness.

I'm rubbish at Livejournal. I just found a feature that lets me read all my comments together. I didn't know it existed. So handy. It means I don't have to memorise the numbers of comments on each of my entries. Though memorising numbers is sort of a good thing. So...bad, wicked LJ.

Curling. Why? Discuss.

Curling. Why? Discuss.

er... Because we need yet another sport Norwegians are really good at?
Or maybe simply because we need something to talk about, in "why?" sort or terms...

It would make more sense if one of the stones turned out to be a Fiendish Thingy, then the players could re-enact the scene from Help!. It's the brooms that make it weird though. Icy bowls with brooms. Sports just shouldn't involve brooms. Not unenchanted brooms anyway.

I get my comments emailed to me, so I don't use last 50 comments very often. I do wish it would show you replies to comments you've made elsewhere though.

I disagree. Brooms, enchanted or no, should definitely be a part of all intelligent sports. Wait...

Ah, it's not as clever as I thought then. I get mine emailed to me too but I sort of forget to check and then they pile up and I panic and delete them. We are getting a fascinating insight into my general level of organisation.

Omg e-mails are godly for comments and the just knowing where comments are is crazy talk, crazy. Get an e-mail that pops up to tell you that you have a message. This is best. If you use hotmail then msn messenger will do this and you can just log into it as offline so that people cannot bother you. Good.

Curling. Because sweeping was never going to be a sport all on its own.

Stephen Hendry is Scottish and he did winning! Till he cut his hair.

I do have the emails for comment but I forget them sometimes. It's quite exciting when I'm logged onto MSN though and it tells me I have comments.

Ironing is a sport all on its own. EXTREME ironing. Sweeping could be a sport. There would be extra points given for dancing with the brooms.

I do not understand why there is not synchronised skating as a sport, becuase there is the dancing where they all dance together in one big group and there should be skating too and I am sad there is not:(
