Flying things in dreams.

I don't know if I've ever dreamt about a flying machine of any description - 'planes, I mean, and helicopters and the like, and sometimes saucers with flashing lights - that's actually behaved properly and decently and stayed in the sky instead of crashing in a rude and hideous fireball. But I seem to have realised that in my dreams now. Last night there was this airship, and I said at once to my dreamalised neighbour 'This is not going to end happily'. And what do you know.

We have a great rhubarb crumble in the kitchen. It was made with wholemeal flour and demarara sugar. I recommend it most heartily.

I've never had rhubarb in my life. I've always thought of it as a vegetable and so don't associate it with sweet things. Must rectify this; crumble is my weakness.

In an off-topic answer to a question you asked several months ago: slimeless moisturisation of hands (and other bits) may be achieved by using cheapish facial moisturiser. A workable solution when it's too hot for baths. Have just discovered this and seen it my duty to inform the world. :D

Rhubarb can take a fair amount of sweetening, but I'd heartily recommend it with crumble and custard and things. And it goes such a pretty shade of pink.

Ooh, and thanks for the slime-free tip. Very useful to know.
