Exciting News, if the sunflowers are of interest.

Today, most of the sunflowers - not Runtface and possibly not numbers 5 and 6 - are going outside. They need their freedom. They're going to live in big pots surrounded by a ring of slug pellets. Personally I don't approve of slug pellets but I am not the being who reigns supreme in the garden. And it will be nice if the slugs don't eat the sunflowers.

We have no seagull pellets or anything along those lines. Please think of your sunflowers on this big and exciting step in their lives.

Excitement indeed! I shall think very loud anti-seagull thoughts in their direction, and do lots of stretching to the sun type mental exercises to encourage sunflower number 3.

Bravo! My mother has cut up lots of plastic bottles to make little slug-guards for them, so they should be fairly secure for a while.

Whee! Excitement. Pray give all the sunflowers my best wishes, and extend my kindest sympathies to those who are not going out yet.

It's fun saying "pray".

Indeed I shall. The homebodies are looking quite fit and shall hopefully be able to join their fellows in the wild quite soon.
