Oh dear.
My dream of having all ten sunflowers out at once is sadly not to be. Number 1 was looking absolutely dire this morning. It's overgrown and has been bowing over in the most uncomfortable position, and this morning its head looks shrivelled and brown and incorrect. I tried to add a third splint and knocked half its petals off in the process. And 2 is going the same balding way. I'd forgotten that after the joyous growth and opening I'd have to watch the sad and sorry decline of ten beloved sunflowers.
