Woe! Well, no.

It's not woe, it's just confusion. The G on my guitar, which is currently tuned to DADGAD ( or is supposed to be), has spontaneously dropped down to an E without anybody's actually having touched it. Now it spells DADEAD. This is wrongness. Well, actually it now spells DADFAD because I tuned it up one note before I realised just how far it had dropped. I don't want to risk tuning it back up in case the string's gone weird and is going to snap in my face, which I hate slightly.

Anyone who knows anything technical about guitars and strings and FREAKINESS is more than welcome to counsel me sagely.
