Wee, mostly.

I'm having fun with urinary tract infections today, because god forbid that any part of my lower abdomen should be in good working order. My pre-emptive wee, what I took to my doctor, and stop me if I'm getting too scatological, was actually quite bacteria-free, but she approved my diagnosis on the basis of my symptoms, which was decent of her really because technically they're allowed to get very cross when you do that. I think she was impressed that I'd remembered to bring wee. She decided to be pragmatic about it and gave me a scrip for antibiotics, like doctors are being advised not to do so much. I wondered if I ought to talk her out of it, but I didn't. I like antibiotics. And she had a medical student with her who seemed incapable of putting his gloves on. Whatever. I have my pills, which always excite me. I'm hoping they'll do my sinuses while they're at it.

My brother spoke to me this morning. I was looking at screenshots from the Lost game. He said 'What on earth is that? A computerised version of Sawyer?' I said 'Yes'. That was more or less it.

He's sort of not said anything in the intervening seven hours, which is slightly less promising, but maybe. What's worrying me mostly is that Friday is due in three days' time and I've not yet heard anything about its being cancelled. I ought to speak to someone about that.

Pills, hurrah. Thank you re. my wee.

I'm going to eat pancakes.

I think I'm going to ignore pancakes in favour of toad in the hole which is presumably just as valid as pancakes in a kind of eating up the larder way, while also having sausages involved. By ignore I possibly really more accurately mean shun, I think in sentences like that the word eschew crops up but I can't type it without hating it, so I'm shunning it. And pancakes.

Toad in the hole is just big rectangular pancakes wrapped around sausages. So yes. I'm sure it's essentially in the spirit of the thing.
