I keep intendeding to apologise profusely for whatever I did to provoke them in the past in the hope it wigs them out. Or I might just throw rocks at them. I probably won't.

Not writing because Alan Ayckbourn ('s book) told me not to is a particularly great feeling. Actually he didn't tell me not to work on any of the other things I might be working on. But I'm sure it's what he meant.
