Eartha Kitt's died now. That's not very festive.
I hate Yuletide because I never do it. Sort of. That's not a very good reason. All the things I want are too rare even to count as rare fandoms, to be honest. Probably I'll try and read some of it tomorrow. It's just a bit too epic.
I hope you had a pleasant Christmas. I hope your puddings didn't dry out. I hope you had the good fortune to miss Doctor Who. Mother asked me if I'd seen the end of it. I hadn't actually. I'd run away about halfway through after the traditional massive substance letdown. Apparently after that it went unbelievably racist and sexist and just generally awful. So I'm glad I wasn't there. I've been out walking mostly, and eating mildly spiced confections and opening stuff. Good old stuff. I've a hat with ears now and a velvet jacket. Go me.
