A face on my stomach.

I've managed to dig an old Schumacher T-shirt out of the back of my chest of drawers. It says 'world champion' on it and it smells profoundly of the year 2000. I'M TOO EXCITED. I need to eat lunch and I don't know how.

My T-shirt is in Ferrari colours so it works for Massa as well.

Other than that I'm wholly unprepared for my afternoon's viewing. The new points system is bizarre and I don't really know who's in what team. I haven't begun to learn what the helmets look like. I've quite forgotten how to watch F1 and care at the same time.

I LOVE HIS PURPLE SCARF.

I can't believe they've put ex-players on the committee that looks at disputes and decides who was wrong. They all hate Schumacher, how is that remotely fair?

I hope Schumacher is happy about being racing again and doesn't think it was an accident. I like best when someone asked him if drivers were all better now, and he said no, they just have easier cars.

I loved it when he said that. It was brilliantly him. I think he did very well for a person who's been out of F1 for three years, and he does seem sort of mellow and happy and I hope that last a few more races before he's consumed with a murderous desire to win. It's completely rubbish that they've filled the committee with people who hate Schumacher. Though maybe Hakkinen and Alesi will be on it sometimes, rather than just Damon Hill. I think they love him a bit. Ralph Schumacher. He's an ex-racer. He should be on the committee.

OH GOD HAKKINEN. All the drivers were there today and they spent all their time not asking Hakkinen if he was going to come back so that he could race against Michael again like the WHOLE WORLD wants him to. Or at least if he was sticking up for him a bit, and going to celebrate/commiserate with him later.

I think he did well, too, I can't believe how weird they are being as if he was meant to suddenly be first at everything straight away again, when cars don't work like that really ever. They're all wankers, the people who get to talk about formula one. They're not Hazel. Or John Parrott. I expect he likes motor racing at least a bit.
