I can't believe how tiny he was. He's mostly eyes. What's most bizarre is that this photo is from 1989.
The carpet was splendid and has since been replaced. Liz tells me she has the same carpet and also I saw it making a special guest appearance in an Alan Bennett play once.
In that photo he reminds me of Tiptoes the Mischievous Kitten, who could 'walk underneath the sofa and not even touch it with the tip of her funny little tail'.
Give him a stroke from me, or whatever petting method he prefers.
