I think we will not yet be seeing pirates.

Hello. My parents are both back at a time I think would be perfectly suitable for seeing Pirates 2. But my mother is tired and my father is probably going to want to cook and eat and this tends to take him about an hour and half. He likes to make an event of it by watching telly and drinking at the same time. I have eaten houmous and ryvita and marmite and it took ten minutes and I am quite ready to see pirates. But I expect by the time all's done, no-one else will want to go out and see pirates. There we go.

The sunflowers, to distract myself, are being quite exciting. 6 and 9 were discovered this morning collapsed in a drunken heap. They have been righted and re-staked. 6 is a bit bent but ultimately none the worse for its ordeal. The height order has also changed a bit drastically: it's now 1, 2, 4+8, 5, 3+6+9, Runtface and 7. I think. 1, 2, 8 and Runtface are beginning to flower - there's a actually a little spot of yellow right in the middle of 1's...thing. It's very exciting. I'll try and get a photo.

I am going to take a guess and say you want to go see Pirates.

Only very slightly....

Oh dear. Can your father be hurried along at the threat of seeing Pirates without him?

4 8 and 5 need to relearn their numbers. Forcibly. Possibly with punishment including losing an inch or two until they learn their rightful place.

Still cooking. And the locking up of the house is taking place, which suggests no-one is contemplating venturing forth. Boo.

I'm not sure what's happened with 3. It needs a bit of goading or cajoling or some such thing.
