My father's taking all the DVDs again prior to going on holiday for a fortnight. Luckily I squirrelled Nightingales away in my room last night. Hah. Foiled. And I just snatched The Concert in Central Park while his back was turned (packing Old Friends, sadly). I don't think people get to go on holiday and have all the DVDs. It's not healthy anyway. You can watch DVDs at home. You don't have to spend money on air travel in order to watch DVDs.

It's too hot. My chin itches. I'm hungry. I might be sprouting a beard. I'm probably not. I dreamt, I dreamed, I did dream that there was a fairground ride that consisted of 5,000 people's being shoved into a series of massive plastic bags and twirled around on a sort of rotary washing line thing. I thought it was really silly. This DVD case is cold against my spine. The rest of me is too hot. It balances out. If I say something prurient this paragraph could almost look as though it came out of Finnegan's Wake. Almost. Not very much.

I ought really to be writing.

Your parents are MAD. you are just not meant to steal all the dvds from people who are NOT GOING on holiday. Dude.

I hate beard hairs, I wish I had an entire beard and not just three hairs of it.

It's only my father who's mad. My mother say what he was doing and basically said 'What are you doing?' His madness is a little beyond belief.

I don't think I have even a very sparse beard, though I don't think I'll look too hard lest I find one and it upsets me, but a long flowing beard would be, I think, the making of me.

I have just done eating of cheese. Now I shall think of it as research.
