(In non-art-related news, and probably I could do without one or the other of those hyphens, my parents are coming for a visit tomorrow and mostly I'm thinking 'Hurrah! I can experience my proper life for a fortnight', by which I mean being heavily parented and maintaining the illusion that I'm eleven. This thought is everything that is wrong with my brain.

And then at the end of the week the plan is to climb a mountain in the rain. Rain features in the realistic plan. Not the ideal one.)

I like both the photo and the painting! Reminds me of Brownsea Island, possibly my favourite place in the world.
