The snooker was wow.
Apr. 19th, 2006 07:01 pmThat was well good snooker. (It was also quite upsetting snooker in some ways. I don't wish to make people growl or cry.) I've been watching snooker on my computer because they don't deign to put it on the actual telly in spite of it's being the best thing ever. Someone wrote a review of the snooker in which they waxed lyrical about the joyous thwack of leather on resin and resin on beize-covered metal and all that sort of thing. But this snooker just past. That's what I call snooker. There was a cruel in-off on the final black and a too-ready unscrewing of the cue and all manner of dramatic things, and then it ended. I still have slight N Bond love. It's a leftover from my youth. I love Hendry too, though I'm still cross about his continued lack of good hair. This makes life difficult.
But, in the long run, Ken's more likely to get through against Nigel. That's the important thing.
