Hello. Today I am so tired that I nearly curled up on a grass verge and went to sleep. It looked so springy. But I didn't. And now I am eating a carrot.

The parents fly back on Saturday. I can only congratulate them on their timing. Mother won't like checking in her handbag. I'm not sure it's ever left her sight before. But I hope there are no hideous delays for them. Or anything. I'm really quite keen for them to be back now. Not only because of missing being able to say the things that I only say to Mother, or imply to Mother because Mothers get implications when brothers and the like, bless 'em, really don't. But also because they keep earlier hours than I like to and will feed the cats and I might once again get to sleep past 6.30am. JOY.

Soon I shall buy some cheese to mark their return.
