I had a fairly inconclusive visit to the doctor this morning, but she did give me some pills for the vertigo and promised to investigate my blood some time next week and told me to come back if nothing much changes. It might be a self-limiting inner ear type thing or it might be sinusitis or it might be due to my amusing low blood pressure. She did actually laugh at my blood pressure. It was 90-something/60-something. I wasn't paying proper attention. But I don't think she'd ever seen low blood pressure before. She was very nice though. A locum. I like seeing a locum because I very unfairly assume all the regular doctors have preconceived ideas about all their patients. She couldn't think of anything to do about my weird legs though, which was vaguely disappointing because they're driving me slightly up the wall. I keep looking down at them and being entirely surprised to discover they're not on fire. The trouble with doctors is their lack of imagination. I'm generalising most disgustingly. But I'd come up with loads of diseases that handily linked both my symptoms, and she didn't mention a single one of them. Not that I actually wanted them. But anyway. That's what happened.

I received some magnificent chocolate through the post today. I love people sometimes.
