The wrong icon.
May. 23rd, 2008 03:52 pmI've reviewed a Pinter play and I can't post it because I want to use my Pinter icon and I don't know how many more I'd have to delete to get to it. It saddens me. When I say 'can't', obviously I'm not really using the term in its strictest sense. I mean won't. Also I'm wondering if trading adverts for fifteen icons and a scrapbook and all that sort of thing mightn't be such a bad notion after all, but I think then it imposes adverts on people who haven't paid to get rid of them and I don't like it and I don't know.
It's my grandfather's 87th birthday today. Happy birthday, Grandpa. Mother and I took him out for lunch, slowly and ponderously, and he seemed to have a fairly pleasing time. I gave him a fruit bowl. Mother gave him an umbrella and my brother gave him too many cushions. He's just moved from furnished to unfurnished accommodation, so for once it's not not been too much of a challenge finding things to buy him.
It also would've been Humph's 87th birthday today had he still been alive. Boo to Humph's not still being alive.
