Me naart. Day 1.

It's mostly bits of pot pourri and animal-shaped confetti, and a shell. The fir cone is from the Ardennes - actually from the edge of the track at the Belgian Grand Prix. The mottled holly leaf is diseased. The green stuff at the bottom is the edge of a little bit of quilting a friend sent me from Australia and the blue material is the dupatta I bought in Delhi. I rather enjoyed it.
I've had a nice day sitting in a friend's garden and talking about Star Trek TNG, especially the greatness of Worf, and trying to do the cryptic crossword in the Guardian (we got two right) and eating bagels and blueberry muffins. Now I feel somewhat sick so I'm going to spend the evening sitting quietly in a chair and trying not to move and hoping David Mitchell rants beautifully to me on Would I Lie To You?. Good.
