I hope I don't get too wrapped up in daytime TV.

I've a jovial day of appendix-monitoring before me. I had a very exciting stomach last night that objected to any strenuous activity, such as lying on my left side, lying on my right side, turning over, breathing in, sitting up, breathing out, straightening my legs, poking myself in the kidneys or thinking. I took it to the doctor this morning. It had actually got a bit better, in that I could make myself more or less vertical and walk and that, and she reckoned that made it less than very likely my appendix was to blame - she voted for an exploding cyst on my right ovary, as it goes - but I'm to spend the day at home keeping an eye on myself and I'm to report back to her if it gets any worse, and then she said something about hospitals. I don't much want to go to a hospital because I think I'd miss the dancing, but I'm sure I oughtn't to let that put me off. Still. Hopefully it's an ovary. Good.
