I can't find the compilation of snooker clips set to 'The Entertainer' what used to be on YouTube and that I think was a BBC production, but there's a fan-made one here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pbqZC8lCaU - that is fuzzy but pleasing. It has the proper players of my youth in it, such as Ray Reardon and John Spencer and Bill Werbeniuk and Doug Mountjoy and Rex Williams and that other Taylor who wasn't Dennis. I liked it when snooker had much older people in it than it does now. It doesn't have Stephen Hendry in, I don't think, which is a downer, but it does have Alex Higgins in his brilliant hat. I miss the days of snooker with brilliant hats. I also slightly miss when they used to ask the ref to bring them alcohol. I don't know why John Spencer is bringing Willie Thorne a chair.
Also I'm trying to learn to play the BBC snooker theme (Drag Racer or whatever it's called) on my guitar. It's not a waste of time.
Edit. The 1982 version! http://www.jogyjogy.com/watch.php?id=186da
