Alternatively, can we stay in this limbo of counting and indecision and let the civil service run the country? And can the BBC change its breaking news ticker back to red? Not blue? And can people stop pledging to leave the country? That's not an option for me and I don't want to be left alone with the tories.

Also I wish people on the news would stop banging on about 'a coalition of the losers' as though it's not perfectly justified. As Jekesta pointed out, more people don't want the tories to govern than do, so a collection of everybody else makes sense.

(Latest News: 'The weather goes on'. Which is a relief.)

Jim Sweeney's blog posts always leave me massively impressed. They always seem unlikely, at the beginning, to end too sunnily, but they pretty much do nonetheless. He's having a good life.
