Naarmamo 2011 Day 14

My lovely cat, Tinker, who died in March at the age of twenty-one (the photo this is based on was taken when he was about nineteen). He did feature in a couple of photos in previous naarmamos. This was done, oddly, with enamel paints (aside from a couple of blobs of red, yellow and green poster paints for the eyes and the nose; plus it's zoomed rather on the screen, hence the grainyness around the ears), because that's what was there. It's not great on paper but actually more malleable than I expected.

My friend who recently spawned has yet to commit the two hideous parental facebook practices I so loathe, and I'm slightly worried my having condemned them repeatedly to her face (before she was pregnant; and she did agree) might be stifling her newfound baby-induced (but still TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE) needs, 'cause she's very much proving the exception.

(The practices are replacing your profile photo with one of your offspring, WHICH I HATE, and tagging photos of your offspring with your own name, WHICH I HATE EVER MORE.)
