Oh is a good reaction. Mother and I are both pretending to be pleased about it and saying how good it'll look on his CV and how he'll feel better about himself if he stays the whole year and then we scowl quietly. Basically, whatever he plans to do, I seem to want him to do the other thing.
On the plus side, I was watching QI and it had people on it who sometimes turn up on ISIHAC and I had to jump up into the air slightly with glee. FOUR DAYS.
