Play three, draft one, in the bag. Fairly pleased there: not quite two months from conception to initial draft. I'm planning on letting it sit for the next three weeks or so before meddling. Planning. Probably I'll tweak it tomorrow, that said. I'm not great at the waiting.

Blister on my little toe from wearing a sandal. Two sandals, to be fair, but only one blister. I feel a blister is something of a failure. I never used to get them, then when I was seventeen I had second degree sunburn on my ears and my body quite profoundly got the knack of them. And now it does them all the time. Boo to that.

Made buttermilk pancakes for brother and myself. Three apiece. Nearly couldn't walk afterwards. What the devil is it about pancakes? They look small and innocuous and then they swell to fill the entire stomach. Cunning beasts.

Can't find the instructions for my battery recharger and don't know how long to give my batteries. I think it's been binned. There was some tidying going on. Like what happened to the collection of Real Ghostbusters comics because my brother read them till they were tatty instead of keeping them pointlessly in polythene pockets like my father did with all his comics. I still miss Spengler's Spirit Guide. That's a significant downside of living in someone else's house. Someone Else is allowed to tidy it in an upsettingly drastic fashion.

Quite tired. It's hot in my room. Wonder if I can get through a night without inadvertently wrapping myself so tightly in the duvet that I poach.

OMG I have a lot of RGB comics at my dad's house. In reasonable nick. I remember there was one that explained Egon's hair (it was either spores, moulds or fungus) and there was one that was a rap. I could maybe dig them out for you next time I am there. Or they might be VALUABLE, idk.

I was just thinking this very moment about my favourite bits of RGB and how I shall soon own it in a BOX. Like the end of Mrs Faversham's Attic when Pete goes back to visit her and says that their fee is ONE SMILE. Or when Ray gets cable and has a million sports channels and all Pete wants is a Spencer Tracey movie. Or like how Winston is such an enthusiastic supporter of his really quite bad baseball team, and the only one who will go with him to a game is Slimer. Or EVERYTHING in Citizen Ghost. Or how they spelt Winston's name wrong in Ghostbuster of the Year. Or "Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis? What's that, a law firm?" / "he doesn't look a thing like me" from the one about the movie. Or... WELL you get the idea.

I must find some way of getting that boxset. I'm prepared to buy real estate in the US just so they have somewhere to ship it if necessary.

My feet are made of blisters. Which might be overstating the case slightly, but I feel that they have dreams, and they dream of blisters. The only 'shoes' (and I use the term advisedly) I can wear without blisters are flip flops (and very occassionally crocs with socks).

Me and my feet do not get on at all.

Also the duvet poaching? I do that. Occasionally I have thoughts of replacing the duvet with a sheet or blanket in the warm nights, but that requires a) planning and b) somewhere to put the duvet when it's not on my bed.

I've never had buttermilk pancakes. How are they different? I have however read a book called I Have a Bed Made of Buttermilk Pancakes.
