One thing I might consider slightly odd about myself if I wasn't practically convinced you've all pondered precisely the same thing yourselves is the fact that I know which finger I would ask to be severed if I absolutely had to have one severed. I'm assuming I'm in some sort of deeply unfortunate finger-severing situation and my estwhile tormentors want to remove one of my fingers primarily to irritate me and to cause me to funtion less well in my future life. I would want them to choose the little finger on my right hand. I use it least, and not at all for playing the guitar. I'm assuming they're giving me the choice.

The thing I haven't yet worked out is whether or not they're such awful meanies that they would deliberately leave the very finger I had suggested they sever and take a more useful one to spite me. In which case I would suggest a different finger altogether.
