The new Formula 1 season kicks off tomorrow - at about 3am, to be precise - and for the first time in ten years, I don't plan on getting up in the middle of the night to see it. Mostly, post-Schumacher, because I'm not wanting anyone in particular to win and so don't have to watch it live in order to will said person's tyres to remain glued to the track. It's quite a strange feeling. I'm still vaguely excited and that - starts are mostly immensely exciting, as are the various massive noises - but with no sense of direction. I was going to make a poll so you could tell me which driver to support this year, but you've proved USELESS at making decisions on my behalf, so I shan't. Lewis Hamilton seems good but I don't think I can support a Brit. I don't want anyone to accidentally think I'm patriotic.

Also I woke up this morning wondering who my favourite female character on screen is in the whole world ever, and decided it was Miss Jones from Rising Damp. I wonder what this signifies.
