One of the Sunday papers came with a free DVD about Margaret Thatcher, so we had to think of a means to kill it. I slightly wanted to microwave it, but I don't think that's good for the microwave. In the end, my mother defaced it with a pen and my father went at it with the scissors. It'll have to suffice.

Thank you for contributing to the icon poll. Mostly it made me want to keep icons I hadn't even been thinking of keeping, but probably it was useful. I'm thinking of jettisoning my default icon and substituting the 'Most Distressing, Sir' one instead. Then keeping five others. I haven't really the faintest idea which. I might see which ones LJ leaves me with, then properly decide. Also there be four drabbles still up for grabs if you want them. I hope to get started on them some time next week.

I scalded my right hip yesterday, with half a cup of instant hot chocolate. I'm fairly willing to bet you've never done that.
