whathoMy throat is rather better today, but my nose is doing none of the things a nose was designed to do. It's holding up my glasses, to be fair to it, but that's where its usefulness stops. Wikipedia says most people can go about their usual business while suffering from a cold with only minimal disruption. Wikipedia is an ass. Unless your usual business involves falling asleep every half an hour and sneezing blood over your colleagues.

In tidier news, I properly messed up the Guardian crossword yesterday. I was convinced 'inflection' was 'portamento', which almost made much better sense. Left was an integral part of the clue. I thought it wanted port. Not L. And the semantic indicator thing was 'vocal change', which, well, yes. The rest of it didn't work at all, but still.
Today I'm very proud of 19 down.
