I came to post this:

I didn't have a reason or anything. Well, my brother and I were watching it the other night. It transpires he's watched four Shah Rukh Khan films in their entirety, as well as bits of lots of others. I was fairly impressed. His favourite was Paheli, probably because he hasn't seen all of Om Shanti Om, but Paheli is pretty great. Even the Guardian gave it three stars, and the Guardian doesn't, as a rule, watch Shah Rukh Khan with the proper bits of its brain.

I saw a ticker thing on the news yesterday that said Michael Schumacher had congratulated Lewis Hamilton on his championship win. I love that he waited two days to do that and I love that he (probably) did that replete with the implicit knowledge that it didn't count for anything in the post-Schumacher era. But the best bit was that he basically said 'Well done and all, but Massa's still GREAT and he'll probably win next year'. I really love begrudging congratulations with extra sprinklings of love for completely different people.

I need to eat some toast.
