whatho | I'm not going to Connotations.

I feel I should add to my flist's various 'I'm going to Connotations' posts with my usual 'I am not going to Connotations' post. This is due to the standard reasons: a) it's a bit too expensive and b) my cat can't open tins, combined with c) my brother can never say where he'll be from one week to the next. Though, vexingly, the answer throughout the nearly-two-years I've spent staying diligently at home so he's free to apply for a visa/ have a job interview/ move out - delete as applicable - has almost invariably been 'at home after all, there we are'. To be fair, I'm not convinced he's aware of my noble sacrifice, and to be doubly fair there's no reason I should expect him to be on hand to cat-sit my cat. Oh. Why can't I come out of this with nobility?

Anyway. I'm sorry not to be going to Connotations because I haven't seen most of the people who are going for at least two years and at most five years and that's a bit rubbish. Sometimes I pretend I'm going to the extent that I wonder what I should pack. Perhaps we could all have an equally lovely Connotations IN MY HEAD.
