SEND HELP! LIZBETH IS HOLDING US TRAPPED IN OUR OWN HOME. We are only quiet because she has banned noisy. She has turned to the evil side and hypnotises us with her teeth. Clare attempted escape. She promised to return and bring aid, but it has been hours and we have heard nothing. We fear the worst. If you don't hear from us again tell our flists we LOVED THEM. Jen, Alice, Sarah.

OH THE DRAMA. I am sending for Hutch. I have his address. At least a person called Hutch wrote to me and I'm going on my initial assumptions.

I fear Clare may have defected on finding herself in the open air. Do not think too badly of her. She will feel shame in years to come.
