A great year for boxes.

The greatly missed Yonmei sent me a box. In the box was a cake, some tea and a dvd of the ninth season of M*A*S*H. CAN YOU IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS IMAGINE A MUCH BETTER BOX? Don't I win entirely at knowing the best people in the entire world?

The cake smells amazing. I think there are pineapples in it. I'm going to eat it soon. And one of the two types of tea has chocolate in it, and cinnamon and ginger and vanilla beans and just about everything. And the dvd has M*A*S*H on it.

I am quite triumphant. I love Yonmei hugely.

PS. Happy birthday to my cat, who is 17 today, and is ruining the festive mood slightly by treading poo into all the carpets. No driving lessons for him.

She is greatness indeed. A box with cake in is the most fantastic thing.

The cat says...nothing much. He's eating tuna. But I'm sure he'd appreciate the birthday greetings very much if he had a moment to spare.

I am trembling at the very idea of cats driving cars. Old cats probably wouldn't be too bad, as they'd start the engine, leave it in neutral, then go and sleep on the bonnet. Young cats, on the other hand...
