Go Italy.

I'm back now. Go Italy. I won Italy in Jen's sweepstake. I can eat supportive ice-cream and care slightly because there's a big pile of stuff in it for me if I win.

News you missed while I was away:

- I found a slow worm. A golden slow worm. I was so excited because I hadn't seen one in years and years and years. I told everyone I knew, and they all said their garden was full of them. I did not let this detract from my discovery. I picked my slow worm off the pavement and put it in the verge. I'm kind like that.
- A man mocked my hat. I adopted my usual tactics on this occasion, which are to mumble 'prick' under my breath then think of the witty thing I ought to have said on turning the next two corners.
- I kept seeing the same green car yesterday. I was so offended by it that on the eleventh sighting I said 'AAAAARGH' quite loudly.
- I watched Lost and might say something about it tonight if I have a moment (but I'm going away for some days and need to pack and things along those lines so I don't know).
- I've been eating a terrific amount of Weetabix.

As you see, it's been pretty bally hectic.

How do I make them shut up about that wretched man's foot? It's had rolling news status on the Beeb as if it was an ongoing terror incident or earthquake or something. Isn't something biggish happening in Somalia right now? Is Somalia too FOREIGN, news people? Do they perhaps not really play much bally FOOTBALL there?
