Humbug is a great thing to say and I, for one, hope you go about saying it as often as possible.
(The picture in my real advent calender this morning was a family of cats eyeing up a fat robin. Obviously slaughter was in the offing. I'm not sure I consider slaughter massively festive, but there you go.)
I did start the post with the intention of doing something pleasanter than a lame practical joke, but then I couldn't find any nice photographs. It was a bit sad. Never mind.
It all started in the Holy Land about 2000 years ago. Is that what it says? 'It'? Are they trying to keep you in suspense so you'll definitely open Day 2?
I have a PotC advent calendar that my housemate bought me for sixty p. It has jigsaw bits in it. BEAT THAT. Although it does displeasingly say "JACK SPARROW" and "WILL TURNER" on the front, with pictures of said two gentlemen. What is wrong with them? Don't they SEE? Have they no UNDERSTANDING of the MEANING of the words "sparrington", "OTP" and "hotcommodoresex"???
Those are the WRONG things to say indeed, but I do like the jigsaw bits. Possibly the completed jigsaw will be of Jack and Norrington very much having sex, and when I say possibly, I meant undoubtedly.
