EDIT. A cure has occurred! Huzzah. It was oddly fun while it lasted.

I was typing actual words then I realised it was just the vowels that were doing anything. Though I got a Euro symbol from somewhere as well. I don't know where. OH DEAR

Re-start Firefox? I've had this happen to me, too, although when it does it's in every application and not just FF.

[Written in Word] That bit made sense. I'm using IE at the moment because firefox clogs and goes all weird. This is actually a very peculiar computer. But yes. Possibly going to bed and trying it again in the morning might be the best idea
