What do you think about Mike McShane's beard as it occurs in series three of Whose Line is it Anyway?? Do you think 'yay' or do you think 'YAY'? Those are the only two options. I think 'YAY' because I am in general fairly YAY about beards unless they're just not the right sort of beard, and I don't really know what that is. A moustache without a beard was always upsetting until Shah Rukh Khan developed one in Paheli and then it was slightly perfect, so it's not as though the rules are hard and fast. But my brother won't go further than 'yay' because he thinks Mike McShane uses his entire face to good comic effect and so he prefers to see all of it, which is a jolly reason and I can't deny that Mike McShane does smile at Tony Slattery very beautifully and it's nice to see that unfettered. But mostly I'm in favour of the beard.

The wrong sort of beard is that sported by my offender with caterpillars dropping from it.

Mike McShane gets a YAy, which is somewhat of a cop out and a mid way non answer. I'm sometimes ambivalent toward beards - primarily because of my first point above.

Yes. I can ... see how that would jaundice your view of beards. It's almost EPICALLY BRILLIANT, though probably much less so if you actually have to witness it.
