Shoes and scripts and tea.

I've been scavenging shoes mostly. I've been gifted a pair of breathable running shoes that should be dandy for days when it doesn't rain, and a pair of fairly unwell trainers that hurt but aren't total agony. I also have the purple boots of bloody death, which are waterproof and sturdy and pretty enduring, but which do tend to make me bleed. But I have some spray that's apparently going to stretch them. I do hope it doesn't make them burst. If I could combine all the positive properties of the above-mentioned shoes, I'd have an eminently wearable pair.
I also possess materials with which to mend my broken shoes, but I lack the incentive to act.
In other news, I badly need to update my rejection database. I had two more this week and I've taken to dumping them in random corners of the house. It's not very good for record-keeping. Technically my rejection database is just a sending-out database, but in practice it's precisely what I called it.
I've left my tea at an alternative table.
