* My father did kill that computer. He opened it up and vacuumed its innards and replaced its hard drive with the hard drive from another dead computer. Before he did all that, it could access the internet but couldn't run any applications. Now it can't do anything at all. I think I've lost all my bookmarks. OH WELL.
* I've been walking on hills today and I didn't get any lunch. But I dined heartily on soup and a bagel. And my lips are falling off.
* Comments notifications are not a thing that's happening to me anymore. Apologies if I am failing to notice comments.
* Someone mentioned December the 12th the other day and I became massively overexcited and made everyone be quiet while I recalled the very important thing that was going to happen on this day, and then I remembered it was the day Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi comes out in the cinemas and I had to mumble away slightly.
* Yesterday my grandfather faxed over his shopping list at 7am. Faxing is noisy. It's not as bad as his faxing over his confusion at 5.10am and 5.20am, like he did a few days beforehand, but it still interrupted my dream about the discovery of a missing episode of Nightingales. By the time I'd got back to it it'd turned into some drivelly animated version of Batman.
* Mother said on Saturday, re Strictly Come Dancing, that Tom's tango-face made her think profoundly of Hugh Dennis.
* I don't believe my feet shall ever be warm again.

I finished writing my second lecture. It's a bit disjointed, but every slide has at least one picture. Today I had a slide about how postfeminism posits the death of feminism. And I illustrated it with a still from the Monty Python parrot sketch. I don't know if anyone noticed.

Date: 2008-11-24 11:51 pm (UTC)LJ emailed me comments for quite a while and I felt special and favoured and now I just feel rejected. BOO.
Pictures are the most important things in lectures. Pictures of old British comedy score TRIPLE. I'm a bit disappointed that nobody called out quotations though. Maybe they're all too polite.

I think they take the tiles off bit by bit, then they take off all the felting and insulation, then they put new felting and insulation on and then th tiles eventually go back on. Windows later this week. Sorry to disappoint.
