YouGov is asking me to imagine various things about my partner. I've never had a partner, so mostly it's all wild stabs in the dark. There's no 'I have no idea, YouGov, this is not even vaguely in my realm of experience' option. Frankly I think YouGov needs to consider those whose realms of experience don't actually stretch to, say, holding hands. And it's gone a bit heteronormative now. It was all he/she at the beginning, but now it's suggesting my imaginary partner has got me pregnant. WHOOPS.

Technically I shouldn't be wasting my precious internet time on YouGov. I MISS YOU, INTERNET.

I like that you're prepared to humour YouGov in its assumption that you have a partner, even if it is a bit rubbish. If I ever find myself filling in that survey, I am going to pretend that Starsky is my partner. If I'm going to have a pretend boyfriend, I cannot think of a better one.

Starsky is the best pretend boyfriend IN THE WORLD, but I can't pretend he's my boyfriend without simultaneously pretending I'm Hutch. Luckily I'm fine with that. Also it means Starsky accidentally got Hutch pregnant.

My internet is present for the first time all morning but it's still fairly rub. It only works on one computer and there are four of us in the house and generally it doesn't work in the morning and when it does work later in the day it's sort of there for a few minutes before being gone for several more and probably I should click post now while I still can. Good.

i had a survey all about my friend who is pregnant and my friend whose job sucks etc.

I didn't get that one! YouGov hides surveys from people and thinks they won't find out. I'm not sure I should be making decisions on behalf of my imaginary friend who is pregnant.
