Actors. List of actors.

Cakesy gave me a list of actors EONS ago. So many eons I slightly forgot what I was meant to do with them, but I think it was 'name your favourite role you've seen them play' type thing. I'm hampered by having seen about a tenth of the telly and film that a normal person has seen, but here it is. I could offer you a list of actors too (I think there are twenty of them), but you ought to bear in mind that they'll all be drawn from 1970s British sitcom.
Mandy Patinkin
Oh, I saw him once in Chicago Hope when I was waiting for LA Law to come on, and that's all I have to say on the matter. Actually it was great. He was singing 'The Emperor's New Clothes' in the children's ward and I couldn't get the song out of my head for days.
Hugh Laurie
Wooster in Jeeves and etc. FROM THE DAYS WHEN I CARED. I also like him as Mr Palmer in Sense and Sensibility.
Angelina Jolie
I was about to lie and say I'd never seen her in anything ever, and then I remembered I'd seen The Changeling. She was fine in that.
Martin Sheen
Oh, him. The WRONG Sheen. There's more than one wrong Sheen, that said. I've not seen Apocalypse Now, 'cause that's the sort of guy I am. I have only seen The West Wing. I do not particularly like The West Wing.
Gemma Atherton
I don't know who this person is. I am going to go away and do some research.
...
Google keeps telling me I mean Arterton. Do I? I still don't know who she is.
Simon Pegg
Upsettingly, the only thing I've really seen him in is Star Trek X. He was far from the worst thing in it. I suspect all his other films of having vomiting in. I have no reason for suspecting this. It's just a hunch.
Patrick Stewart
PICARD, OBV. Actually I saw Antony and Cleopatra on stage, which was quite great. But it was great mostly because he was Picard. Probably he'd hate to hear that. Like he doesn't know.
Simon or Garfunkel (whichever is more likely to have done something you like - APPARENTLY THEY HAVE BEEN IN FAR FEWER FILMS THAN I'D THOUGHT THEY HAD)
Oh! I don't think I've ever seen Paul Simon in anything. I've seen Garfunkel in two films, both of which were kind of grim and weird, neither of which have a name I can remember. Further research tells me they are Carnal Knowledge and Bad Timing. One of them then.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Hee. Um. Really I've only seen Terminator 2. I saw it India, so it has extra points for nostalgia.
Helen Mirren
I'm going to say The Queen through gritted anti-royalist teeth, though I only went to see it because it also had Alex Jennings and The Right Sheen in it. I'm sure she was very good as well though.
Leonardo DiCaprio
I've seen him in a couple of things recently. They were Revolutionary Road, which I didn't really like, though he was rather good in it, and Inception, which I thought he was rather bland in, ergo the former.
Shah Rukh Khan
OH, SO CRUEL. It's very hard to choose. Paheli I think. He's lovely in that. But I've never regretted seeing any SRK film yet.
Molly Ringwald
I know who that is, but I don't think I've seen her in anything. SORRY.
Sean Connery
I was about to say MEH, BORING, then I remembered The Man Who Would Be King.
Cary Grant
I LOVE HIM VERY. I think probably I love him best as Dudley the Infuriating Angel in The Bishop's Wife. I also love him in Father Goose and Bringing Up Baby and all the other things.
Sandra Bullock
Another massive name I've never seen in anything.
Brian Blessed
I've seen him in lots of things though. My very favourite is Richard IV in The Blackadder.
Madonna
I have not seen Madonna in anything. Well, some music videos. I didn't like any of them.
Bill Murray
Ghostbusters. Definitely.
Emma Thompson
Sense and Sensibility, I think. Andrew Davies moaned about her being too old for the part. I really didn't care.
