I am dressed very stripily today. My mother says I look like a French sailor and ought to wear a beret. I think I look like Styles, only with fewer rat bites.

I didn't know Will Hay had a thing with Amy Johnson! I say this as though I just discovered it. That was for effect. I discovered it yesterday. He had a thing with Amy Johnson and learned how to fly. He also had a thing with a Norwegian person and learned how to speak Norwegian. Having things with people sounds an educational business.

I am going to eat cake soon. This pleases me greatly. In the meantime, I shall breakfast on a banana.
