Update de la sunflowers.

I've been frantically busy (for me) but I do intend to do a proper sunflower update with photos soon, possibly on Sunday. Just a quick thingummy for now: most of the sunflowers are thriving. Number 2, in spite if its unfortunate injury, is actually the tallest at present, closely followed by number 1, then 8, 4, 3 (who's looking a little peaky but is in no immediate danger), 7 and 9.
Runtface went outside two days ago. He's doing extraordinarily well. He's onto his third set of leaves, is as stout and hearty a little sunflower as you're ever likely to meet and has overtaken 5 and 6.
5 is quite the freak, Alice. 5's two primary leaves fused to form one massive leaf. It then produced a single enormous second leaf on a little branch it developed specially for the purpose, and is now working on two others of varying sizes. It seems happy enough doing its own thing.
6 doesn't look entirely healthy - a bit wan and now the smallest of the bunch. But the plan is to move both 5 and 6 outside soon. I'm sure both shall benefit from a spot more sunshine. Just need to make a couple more slug collars.
And that was the sunflowers at 23.43.
