naarmamo after all, I finally got around to making myself a Simon and Garfunkel audio tape. I understand there are slightly more technologically advanced ways of transporting music about the place these days, but CDs make silly noises when you try and put them on portable players (I know this because my only CD player is a little walkman type CD player and it makes silly noises if I breathe too deeply while holding it on my lap) and MP3 players cost money, so I use tapes. Carrying them about is a bit of a nuisance, but I quite like being the only person on the train using tapes. This tape's great anyway. Well, not great. I took three of the songs off the Central Park concert album, so there's a lot of abbreviated clapping. But it's pretty dandy all the same.
* I also had scones and cream for tea. I feel full of dairy and would quite like to drink 12 litres of water in the hope that it'll all go away.
* My right knee has gone bubbly. It itched, so I scratched it, and then it went bubbly to spite me. I have at least learned my lesson.
* I do not consider light drizzle in the spirit of the storms we were promised. The water butt still has only an inch of stagnant water within it.
* Guess which sunflower will be the third to (sun) flower.
