whatho | A bit illish, sort of.

I have a cold of some description. It's quite odd. It's been sort of hanging about since Monday but I wasn't wholly sure it was a cold because my nose is more running than solidified and my throat's sore but in a very on and off sort of a way. But I do ache all over and I have no attention span. It's like a sort of a tepid 'flu. Possibly it's a cold that I've watered down with an overdose of echinacea. Possibly it's a reaction to an overdose of echinacea. What's vexing me most though is that I can't properly settle to writing, and also I want to take Ibuprofen except I don't because I have to take NSAIDS for an entire week or more at the other end of the month anyway and I don't so much want to be doing it in the unmedicated days. I don't know. I might just WHINGE instead.

Never mind. Lost tomorrow. Hurrah. I'm properly enjoying Lost in a way I haven't really done since the first season. I know what it is. It's the complete and utter lack of Jack flashbacks. They'll probably ruin it for me soon, but it's grand while it lasts. And tonight Mother and I are going to watch a Hornblower. The second one where he's taking an exam and wearing a lovely straw hat and Denis Lawson's in it too and it's great. Good. That's the plan. Ouch.
